The Ontario Provincial Police, County of Brant Detachment are investigating a large theft of Diesel fuel that occurred sometime over the past weekend. Suspects entered a business on Rest Acres Road and removed a large amount of Diesel fuel from fuel tanks. The suspects removed 34,500 litres of diesel worth $49,000.00. The suspects backed a large fuel truck up to the tanks and loaded the fuel onto the truck.
The County of Brant O.P.P. is asking the public and media for their assistance. If anyone observed any usual activity at First Student Bus Line on the 26th of July 2008 or the 27th of July 2008 please call the County of Brant O.P.P. at 519-442-2241 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
